Hey there! I’m Amy, a 100% Type A photographer. It's a quality I developed with my meticulous scrunchie collection at age 7, and it greatly helped in my teaching career and has carried over to photography.

Some years, my room was full of high school kids; others, I had 22 5-year-olds. Now I’ve got a little one of my own– I’m well equipped to handle your group from behind the camera!

Some people think Type A = control freak, but I think it’s a superpower. As your photographer, it’s my job to see everything.

Every hair, piece of clothing, or hand out of place: I will catch them all so you can focus on connecting with your loved ones.

It’s my job to ensure you have the best experience possible (and look great in your images). That means I’ll be honest with you. If something isn’t going to work logistically or aesthetically, I will tell you!

I don’t want you to worry about anything when working with me. All you need to do is show up and enjoy your photo session with the people that matter most.

Hey! I'm Laura, an associate photographer with Amelia B.! Amy and I have been friends for over 20 years, sorority sisters for life! We met back in the day at VCU art school and spent many late nights in the studio creating and still enjoy working together today! I am the Positive Behavior Support Teacher at a local Middle School and I have two amazing kids and am married to a designer. My family lives in King William and we spend lots of time outside enjoying the river and nature. Photography has always been a passion of mine and this role allows me to enjoy being behind the camera along with being a mom, a wife, and a teacher!
