Once you’ve booked your session date and we’ve reviewed all the details (location, custom props, etc.), I’ll send you a guide to help you prepare for your session. Before you know it, you’ll be in front of the camera. I promise everyone involved will have a great time!
First Glimpse
You’ll receive a sneak peek of your photos within 24 hours of your session.
Choose Your Images
Within a week, you’ll receive your full proof gallery. Choose the images you’d like for final editing, and I’ll deliver your final gallery in 3 to 5 days. If your package includes prints and a USB, I’ll ship those to you. (usually within a week or so of receiving your final gallery)
It's delivery day
Check your mailboxes, it’s delivery day! Celebrate your beautiful new images however you want: post them, hang them in your living room, or create a new wallpaper background!

First Glimpse
You’ll receive a link to see a sneak peek of your photos within 24-48 hours.
Choose Your Prints
Within 6 weeks, you’ll receive your final edited gallery. Choose the images you’d like for prints, and order and ship those to you.

+ Where should we hold our session?
There are so many fantastic portrait location options in the Richmond area! One of the many reasons that this city has my heart! I also love to travel, so if you have an out-of-town location in mind, please let me know, and I can provide out-of-area travel investment information. See some of my favorite places here!
+ When will we receive our photos?
Your full gallery of proofs will be delivered within 7-10 days (sometimes sooner) of your session. You will receive a link to your private online gallery via email. You will have the opportunity to choose your favorites and select your images for printing. I will also provide a sharable link, so go ahead and share the joy!
+ How should we prepare for our session?

+ Can you help us create a timeline?
Yes! All of my wedding collections include full timeline planning.
+ What happens if you can’t make it on our wedding day?
If I can't make it the day of the wedding, your second shooter is already prepared to step in and take over. I will do everything in my power to secure an additional shooter if that is included in your package. If that is not possible, I will refund your money for any unfulfilled position.
+ What if we need to postpone or cancel our original wedding date?
Wedding deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because your date is secured for you and you alone.
+ What should my child wear to their session?
- I love a "simple dimple" look, a plain background, and minimal props so the whole focus is on your precious baby!
- I recommend jeans or overalls with no shirt or a simple solid romper for boys. I suggest a clean and simple romper or body suit for girls. If you go with a dress, ensure you have a diaper cover or bloomers.
- If you want to get a little more themed, coordinate with the party colors. You can also choose a topic they are really into, like dinosaurs, princesses, rainbows, trucks, or animals.

- If it's warm, I recommend bringing a water bottle. Sometimes, a sip of water can cure any ailment!
- If it's chilly and you don't plan to wear jackets in your portraits, I suggest bringing them so you can warm up in between sets. Even a big, cozy blanket to wrap around the kiddos is a quick and easy solution for a fast warm-up!
- Feel free to bring your child's favorite toy or anything to make them comfortable.
